Short history of Direct Impact Music
Wayne has a wealth of history in the retail side of black music recordings. Many of the visitors to this site may recognise his face from his time behind the counter at Daddy Kools record store in the West End of London. When Wayne eventually decided to move on and start his own company his first shop was in the 'Walthamstow Arcade'. That site has recently been redeveloped causing Direct Impact Music to relocate into its current location 158, Hoe Street, Walthamstow, London, E17.

The shop is packed full of vinyl, CD and DVD's ranging from the obscure and hard to find titles right through to current and up to date sounds. Make Direct Impact Music your first port of call when looking for Reggae,
Ska, Rock Steady, Soul, R&B, Gospel, Soca, Hip-Hop, Bashment and Dancehall music. When you have finished browsing in our store there are plenty of things to do locally. We are very close to Walthamstow High Street where you can find Europe's longest daily street market. With four hundred and fifty stalls and three hundred shops, stretching from Hoe Street to St James's Street, plus Selborne Walk Shopping Centre offering the best high street names, Walthamstow Market offers the best bargains in town.
